some misteries of the EMS field

Why is it that everytime you are super tired or sick that everyone in the surrounding area needs an ambulance and therefore you keep running and never stop..and when you have had your coffee and you are ready to run a call..nothing happens? the misteries of EMS..there or some misteries that are soo big i don't think anyone will ever discover them..like why a person takes horse steriods? or why a family just sitts on thier couch chilling as thier son flops like a fish in the door way with six slugs in his back? or why an assistent living staff won't send out a patient that has first and second degree burns on thier belly? ...... or simple misteries like why do people slow and cause traffic when there is a timbleweed crossing the freeway but when i am standing on the frwy c-spining a patient in the pouring rain people speed by at like 70mph? or why people call 911 for a nightmare? there are many misteries that can be concluded from stupidity or is it just humanity...i have concluded that people big or small, old or young, wish to live their thier lives to thier fullest but when the chance comes they are scared..are you scared to live?
